Warning! No Formal Relationship
Rangers International Football Club plc has been admitted to trading on Asset Match at the request of a number of its shareholders. Asset Match has no formal relationship with Rangers. Investors should understand the risks fully before investing.

Rangers International Football Club plc is the corporate entity of Rangers Football Club, a Scottish professional football club based in Glasgow. Founded in 1872, Rangers F.C. is the fourth‑oldest football club in Scotland and competes in the Scottish Premiership. The club is the most successful in Scottish football history, having won a record 55 league championships.

In 2025, Rangers International Football Club plc underwent a significant ownership transition when a consortium of investors led by Andrew Cavenagh, alongside 49ers Enterprises, acquired a majority shareholding in the company, following approval from the Scottish Football Association. The new ownership group committed to fresh investment into the club and appointed Cavenagh as Chairman, supported by Paraag Marathe as Vice‑Chairman. The consortium has outlined a strategic focus on improving on‑pitch performance while ensuring long‑term financial sustainability under strengthened governance.

The company’s principal assets include Ibrox Stadium, one of the UK’s most iconic football venues, and the club’s modern training facility at Murray Park, both of which underpin Rangers F.C.’s domestic and European ambitions.
